On January 25, 2002 in her home, 27 Brunswick Road, Troy, NY, 18 year old Arica Schneider and Samuel Holley were violently and brutally beaten, stabbed to death, causing multiple trauma. MURDERED!

Justice begins for Arica!
We cannot thank the Troy Police Department enough for all of their hard work and relentless hours dedicated to the investigation and finally getting us to this chapter. Along with many other agencies that have opened all the doors of support and help. Special thanks to Chief Nicholas Kaiser, former Captain John Riegert, former Detective Sgt. Mary Kay O'Neil, FBI Agent Chuck Kessler, Investigator Gary Gordon and all other staff involved.
The Grand Jury of the County of Rensselaer and State of New York, by indictment, accuses Terrence Battiste and Bryan Berry with 14 Counts consisting of Murder in the First Degree, Murder in the Second Degree-Burglary, Robbery, Burglary in the First Degree, Attempted Robbery in the First Degree.
It is very hard to express our feelings at this point. There is so much more to be done and we have waited 5 1/2 years for this moment. It was the second most horrendous thing we have had to deal with thus far. We can only ask for your prayers and support.
Pretrial hearings to begin January 19, 2010; Trial to begin March 1, 2010!
