The community is helping us,
we will help the community
by giving back in Memory of Arica.
Our priority is to have JUSTICE SERVED, to get these murderers off OUR streets! You have put a lot of effort into helping accomplish this with your support and we will continue to help those in need/crime victims. Our events/fundraisers allow us to do this. Take pride in support you have given our family and what you have done for your community:
  • April, 2002, Latham Bowl there was a tremendous attendance of support to raise a $5,000 Reward.

  • July, 2002, The American Legion, reward was increased to $10,000. Thank you!

  • April, 2003, National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) proceeds during Balloon release were given to Cameron Stackman, baby boy who needed a double transplant. Packets of help resources for community awareness were handed out. Candlelight Vigil/Walk to Honor the Memory of Arica from Brunswick Road to Prospect Park.

  • August, 2003, 1st annual "Arica Lynn Schneider Memorial Golf Tournament" at Frear Park/Sidelines Sports Pub.

  • November, 2003, $500 donation went to a cancer patient.

  • December, 2003, needy family of 4 was provided with many, many Christmas presents/food which made their Christmas merrier.

  • January, 2004, friends/family members came together attended Fire Relief Fundraiser, participated with donations.

  • April, 2004, NCVRW we provided crime victims' awareness, Proclamation was presented by Mayor Harry Tutunjian. Candlelight Vigil to Honor the Memory of Arica.

  • August, 2004, 2nd annual "Arica Lynn Schneider Memorial Golf Tournament" Frear Park/Sidelines Sports Pub.

  • November, 2004, celebration for Arica's "21" Birthday and her life.

  • December, 2004, provided family of 4 in need with Christmas presents delivered by Santa himself.

  • April, 2005, NCVRW 25th Silver Anniversary community awareness, Candlelight Vigil to Honor the Memory of Arica.

  • October, 2005, 3rd annual "Arica Lynn Schneider Memorial Golf Tournament" with speaker Curtis Sliwa, Founder of Guardian Angels, Frear Park/Veterans Club of Lansingburgh.

  • January, 2006, donated Friends of Joe Marro to help with large medical expenses. Friend fighting a brain tumor, we wish him luck!

  • January, 2006, donated to little boy, Will Burger, fighting cancer in need of help with expenses to have treatment at Boston Hospital.

  • June, 2006, sponsored Bob Yaiser Memorial Tournament; may he rest in peace.

  • September, 2006, sponsored Jeff Schneider Memorial Tournament; may he rest in peace.

  • March, 2006, donated to children who lost their father to an un-foreseen death.

  • November, 2006, supported START Children's Center of Rensselaer County by donating $3,500.00 in Memory of Arica.

  • January 25, 2007, Candlelight Vigil held.

  • July, 2008, donation for Andrew Bryce; may he rest in peace.

  • August, 2008, donation for George Mawaud's family, may he rest in peace.

  • October, 2008, donation to help pay medical bills for Matt Jubic, a Cancer patient.

  • June, 2009, Donation to National Kidney Foundation in Memory of Elsie Schneider, Arica's Grandmother

  • June, 2009, Donation to Camp Erin a bereavement camp designed for children ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, friend or loved one. It is a weekend-long experience filled with traditional, fun, camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support -- facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.
  • September, 2009, donation to Community Hospice.

We are in the process of creating the Arica Lynn Schneider Scholarship for Troy High Students.


Christmas', community awareness, helping those in great need, these efforts are possible because of your support and our efforts. Our family is honored and proud to continue these efforts in Arica's memory, but we can't do it without you! Words cannot express our gratitude! Thank you and God Bless You!
