When a spouse loses his or her partner,
she or he is called a widow or widower.

When a child loses his or her parents,
he or she is called an orphan.

When parents lose their child,
there isn't a word to describe them.

If you find it in your heart to support our family and help us in our efforts to raise money, we are asking for donations in memory of Arica. Your heartfelt support is sincerely appreciated.

With your generosity, we have been able to raise money to be used to help crime victims and/or people in need.
We can only talk to you through our tragedy and pain, you only need to listen.  These unfortunate lessons can teach us all compassion and perspective.  We are asking you, join us in our effort for justice.  Your individual/community safety depends on you and your drive towards helping us heal. This cannot be accomplished without the commitment of everyone.  You can make a positive difference in someone's life and your own.

When crimes take place most of us never stop to think about the trauma people encounter by these violent crimes.  Nor do we consider what victims might need to reconstruct their lives, recover from a profoundly traumatic experience.  How in a single moment, our lives can be turned inside-out, entirely altered through an act of human cruelty.

You are now given an opportunity to reconsider your response to victims of crime.  A time to witness supreme generosity, from individual acts of compassionate levels of giving. Communities reaching out, compensating for losses.  Help the healing and peace.
